Sticking to any food, diet, or meal prep plan can be tough, and eventually you might be tempted to just bail out altogether. Maintain a food journal

Sounds simple, but making the effort to write down in detail what you eat and when will actually help you to better stick to your daily food and calorie goals. Track your positive progress

Once you’ve got your food journal sorted, it’s important to stay consistent when keeping track of the progress you’re making and the results you’re seeing. You could also try creating a graph so that you can better see how successful you’ve been so far, and what your next goal is. If your aiming for some weight loss, then start weighing yourself more frequently as this can give you the motivational boost you need to continue.

Set yourself smaller goals as well

Long-term food targets and goals are great, but you’ll also need to set yourself smaller more manageable goals in order to keep yourself positive and more motivated. You could aim to eat more vegetables for the next couple of days, or get more exercise at least twice a week. Whatever your small goals are, the more you set yourself, the more you’ll see them making a huge difference in the long-term.
